New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is canceled for this year in response to the coronavirus pandemic, organizers announced Thursday.

Mayor LaToya Cantell said in a press conference Tuesday evening that organizers of New Orleans festivals should start thinking about postponing until 2021.
