Disney's Frozen is coming to Louisiana! Here's what you need to know ahead of the show

Today on Louisiana Considered, we hear about the first performance at the Mahalia Jackson Theater after a 2-year hiatus. And we learn about a new performance of Disney’s Frozen coming to New Orleans.

The Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts is returning this weekend for a Gala Performance following a 2-year hiatus.

Carol Rausch, acclaimed New Orleans Opera Chorus Master and Music Administrator, tells us about the opera performance soon to take the stage.

A dip in temperatures is signaling the perfect setting for the arrival of Disney’s Frozen. The Broadway Musical is opening this week at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. Actor F. Michael Haynie, who plays Olaf the snowman, tells us about the upcoming show.
