
Paul Maassen
General ManagerMaassen, a 29-year radio veteran, led starting the news department that has focused on local news, culture and feature reporting at WWNO, the New Orleans NPR station. He was previously general manager of public radio stations WYSO in Ohio and WNTI in New Jersey.
Maassen received a B.S. from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and an MBA from Centenary College in New Jersey. He lived in Baton Rouge as a child, attending St. Thomas More School.
In addition to his work with WRKF, Maassen serves as general manager at WWNO, New Orleans, dividing his time between both stations.
