In honor of Burn Awareness week, Children’s Hospital hosts first event of its kind

February 6-12 is National Burn Awareness week. Last Saturday, Children’s Hospital New Orleans partnered with the New Orleans Fire Department to hold an event to educate families about fire safety and burn treatment.

Louisiana Considered’s Managing Producer Alana Schreiber attended the event where she spoke with nurses, firefighters and pediatric burn surgeon Dr. Nicole Koprari to learn more about burn awareness and recovery.
