It's been three years since the last New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival took place in the New Orleans Fair Grounds due to the coronavirus pandemic canceling two years of festival activities.

But event organizers said 2022 will be the return of the actual festival — not the "fest in place" events that took place in 2020 and 2021. The long-awaited return of the event kicks off April 29 and wraps up May 8 with headliners The Who, Stevie Nicks, Erykah Badu, the Foo Fighters and more.
