TUESDAY: Suicide Expert Dr. Frank Campbell; and Former LSU Football Player & Author John Ed Bradley

Dr. Frank Campbell with the Baton Rouge-based Campbell & Associates LOSS Team (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors) Postvention Workshops & Training joins us as a guest for the first half of today's show. Dr. Campbell is the former Executive Director of the Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center and the Crisis Center Foundation in Louisiana, and has been working with suicide survivors since 1986. He talks with Jim about the recent suicide of Actor/Comedian Robin Williams, the shocking suicide statistics in the country, and how you can help.

Also, former LSU football player and current author John Ed Bradley joins us as the second guest for today's show to promote and discuss his most recent novel Call Me By My Name. The book follows a young black high school athlete dealing with racial prejudice on and off the football field in a Louisiana town slow to desegregate during the late 1960's. Bradley's book takes a searing look at love, life, and football in the face of racial adversity which Laurie Halse Anderson, author of Speak, calls "Heartbreaking." He and Jim also talk about Bradley's days playing football for LSU in Tiger Stadium.
