Louisiana's elections have been pushed back another three weeks in response to the coronavirus.
Gov. John Bel Edwards made it official with a proclamation Tuesday.
The Democractic presidential primary — originally scheduled for April 4, then postponed until June 20 — will now be held on July 11.
The May 9 municipal general election, first rescheduled to July 25, is now scheduled for Aug. 15.
The elections were first postponed on March 13.
Louisiana law allows the governor to postpone elections with an executive order declaring a state of emergency, and the secretary of state must agree to it.
Gov. Edwards said on Twitter that he made the decision at the request of Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin.
