Community meetings are scheduled in seven parishes across Louisiana through December 20th.
Residents will have an opportunity to review proposed flood recovery programs, and talk to officials in charge of coordinating the recovery efforts.
Hosted by the Louisiana Office of Community Development, the meetings are part of a public comment period for the state’s action plan, which includes assistance programs for homeowners, renters, and small businesses.
Public meetings are scheduled as follows:
Livingston Parish: Monday, December 12, 5:30-7pm, 20355 Government Blvd in Livingston
Lafayette Parish: Tuesday, December 13, 5:30-7pm, 101 Jefferson St in Lafayette
Rapides Parish: Wednesday, December 14, 910 Main St in Pineville
Caddo Parish: Thursday, December 15, 4109 Pines Road in Shreveport
Ouachita Parish: Friday, December 16, 9:30am-12pm, during the Restore Louisiana Task Force meeting at the West Monroe Convention Center, 901 Ridge Ave
East Baton Rouge Parish: Monday, December 19, 5:30-7pm, 6201 Florida Blvd
Ascension Parish: Tuesday, December 20, 5:30-7pm, 615 E. Worthey St in Gonzales
