Former Congressman Charles Boustany, six-term Republican from Lafayette, takes aim at President Trump’s stance on tariffs. The president’s address in New Orleans to the American Farm Bureau is also analyzed by Boustany,  who lost a U.S. Senate election to John Kennedy in 2016. Noted Louisiana filmmaker Glen Pitre on his latest project “Only The Good.” The movie premieres Jan. 29th at the Manship Threatre. Law Professor Andrew Coan on the nomination by President Trump of William Barr to be U.S. Attorney General. Barr has indicated a vast concept of presidential power. Coan, frequently featured in “The Atlantic” and “Washington Post” is the author of “Prosecuting the President: How Special Prosecutors Hold the President Accountable and Protect the Rule of Law.”
