WRKF Baton Rouge Blues Festival VIP Package Giveaway

Eligibility
Contest entrants must be at least 18 years old on the day they enter the contest and a resident of the United States. WRKF contests are sponsored by Public Radio Inc (“WRKF”). Employees, directors, and community advisory board members of WRKF, as well as their respective immediate family and household members, are not eligible. Promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Entry Period and Winner Selection Times for Prizes
The entry period begins Monday, March 24, 2025, at noon Central Time and ends Friday, March 28, 2025, at noon Central Time. The winner will be contacted via email and will have three (3) days to accept the prize. WRKF is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, corrupted, or misdirected entries.
The winner selection will be on Friday, March 28, 2025.

How to Enter
There are three ways to enter the drawing.
Entry via donation/pledge: Participants who make a donation or pledge to WRKF online or by telephone will be automatically entered into the drawing. To make a donation online, visit WRKF.org/donate. To donate by telephone, please call 855-893-9753.
Entry via sustaining membership: Participants who are current sustaining members and give automatically monthly by credit card or bank account will be automatically entered into the drawing.

Prize
WRKF Baton Rouge Blues Festival VIP Ticket Giveaway: two Baton Rouge Blues Festival BFF Fest Full Weekend Passes, two WRKF festival chairs, two WRKF tees, two WRKF hats, two pairs of WRKF or NPR socks, two WRKF travel mugs and two WRKF koozies. The retail value of this prize is estimated at $660.

ELIGIBILITY: You must be a legal U.S. resident 21 years of age or older physically residing in the 50 United States (includes DC) to enter or win. Employees of WRKF and the immediate family (parent, spouse, sibling, child, grandparent, grandchild) and household members of all such employees, are NOT eligible. Promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

ENTRY PERIODS, ENTRY DEADLINES, AND WINNER SELECTION TIMES FOR PRIZES: The promotion will take place beginning Thursday, March 13, at noon Central Time and ending Monday, March 17, 2025, at noon Central Time. The winners will receive two (2) tickets for "Portrait of Ludmilla as Nina Somone" at The Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 8 PM. The winner will be contacted via email and will have five (5) days to accept the prize.

WRKF is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, corrupted, or misdirected entries.

Winner selection will be on Monday, March 17, 2025.

Prize WRKF Tailgate/Catering Package Giveaway: catering or dining valued at $500 from JED's Local The retail value of this prize is estimated at $500.

The vendor's retail price determines the value of each item and is subject to change. Availability is subject to the vendor’s available dates, and additional restrictions and costs may apply. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable. All taxes on any prize, including but not limited to federal, state, and local income and sales taxes, and any expense not covered herein (including but not limited to expenses related to the use of any prize) are the responsibility of the winner.

Notification of Winners and Acceptance of Prize Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries. The Prize drawing will be conducted by the staff of WRKF, whose decision regarding the winners will be final. The drawing will be conducted on or about Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, at noon. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email and must respond by the next business day to accept the Prize. If a winner cannot be reached by phone or email, or if the winner declines the Prize, an alternate winner will be selected using the same process, which will continue until an eligible winner accepts the Prize.

Publicity and Release Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use the winner's name and hometown for publicity without additional compensation.

Limit of Entry: Limit one entry per household. By entering, the entrant acknowledges compliance with these official rules, including all eligibility requirements. WRKF is not responsible for failures in technology such as but not limited to technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, or misdirected entries. Proof of calling, emailing, and/or mailing does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt.

Other Important Points
Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Contest Rules by entering.
WRKF shall have the final decision on determining the winner and any and all claims concerning this contest and reserves the right to disqualify any contestant if these Contest Rules are not followed.
Also, entrants release WRKF and its employees, officers, and agents from any liability, including personal injury or property damage, concerning or related to the receipt or use of any prize awarded. WRKF makes no and disclaims all warranties, guarantees, or representations, express or implied, concerning the condition, quality, or merchantability of any prize.
