WRKF New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Giveaway

Eligibility Contest entrants must be at least 18 years old on the day they enter the contest and a resident of the United States. WRKF contests are sponsored by Public Radio Inc (“WRKF”). Employees, board of directors members, and community advisory board members of WRKF, and their respective immediate family and household members are not eligible. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

Entry Period The entry period begins Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 7:01 a.m. Central Time and ends Friday, April 19, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Central Time.

Prize Two (2) General Admission tickets good for any one day of the first weekend of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, April 25, 26, 27, or 28, 2024. The retail value of this prize is estimated at $105.

The vendor's retail price determines the value of each item and is subject to change. Additional restrictions and costs may apply. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable. All taxes on any prize, including but not limited to federal, state, and local income and sales taxes, and any expense not covered herein (including but not limited to expenses related to the use of any prize) are the responsibility of the winner.

Tickets will be sent via AXS, Jazz Fest's ticket app. To accept the tickets, the winner must download the app and create an account. The winner must also use the app on their phone to use the tickets at the event.

Odds of Winning The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

Notification of Winners and Acceptance of Prize Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries. The Prize drawing will be conducted by the staff of WRKF, whose decision regarding the winners will be final. The drawing will be conducted on or about Friday, April 19, 2024, at noon. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email and must respond by the next business day to accept the Prize. If a winner cannot be reached by phone or email, or if the winner declines the Prize, an alternate winner will be selected using the same process, which will continue until an eligible winner accepts the Prize.

Publicity and Release Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use the winner's name and hometown for publicity without additional compensation.

Limit of Entry: Limit one entry per household. By entering, the entrant acknowledges compliance with these official rules, including all eligibility requirements. WRKF is not responsible for failures in technology such as but not limited to technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, or misdirected entries. Proof of calling, emailing, and/or mailing does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt.

Other Important Points
Entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Contest Rules by entering.
WRKF shall have the final decision on determining the winner and any and all claims concerning this contest and reserves the right to disqualify any contestant if these Contest Rules are not followed.
Also, entrants release WRKF and its employees, officers, and agents from any liability, including personal injury or property damage, concerning or related to the receipt or use of any prize awarded. WRKF makes no and disclaims all warranties, guarantees, or representations, express or implied, concerning the condition, quality, or merchantability of any prize.

To name the prize winner, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to WRKF Jazz Fest Drawing, 3050 Valley Creek Drive, Baton Rouge, LA, before May 30, 2024.
