
Timmie Callais
Membership ManagerTimothy “Timmie” Callais (they/he) joins WRKF with 22 years in performance, education, and arts administration.
Born on the bayou and raised on the stage, Timmie holds an MFA in Acting from University of Hawai’i at Manoa where he worked as a graduate assistant, and a B.S. in Theatre Performance and Directing from Northwestern State University where he founded and directed their first summer theatre camp.
In addition to being trained in long-form improvisation with iO Chicago and interpersonal communication through UH Manoa’s nursing simulation center, Timmie, aka Mister C, has worked in non-profit administration, taught, and directed for years with organizations such as Children’s Theatre of New Orleans, NSU, UH Manoa, Honolulu Theatre for Youth, Baton Rouge Center for Visual and Performing Arts, and BASIS Baton Rouge, and he continues to serve on the board of Louisiana Thespians as Chair of Entertainment and Activities.
Timmie also continues to perform locally with organizations such as Ascension Community Theatre, Opera Louisiane, Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre, and more.
Most recently featured in the web-series D.L. Inc. with Hoodoo House TV, Timmie is also the founder, writer, director, and host of The Radio Drama Club on WRKF.
