Louisiana Considered: LSU Professor Composes Concerto Inspired By M.C. Escher, A New Film Inspired By Students Tackles Racism

Adam Vos hosted Thursday's Louisiana Considered:

  • Baton Rouge Community College professor Clarence Nero has amplified the voices of his students on issues of racism, police brutality, and the COVID pandemic in a new short film that draws narratives his students wrote.
  • LSU School of Music professor Mara Gibson composed a bassoon concerto that's inspired by the modern art of M.C. Escher. Professor and bassoon soloist Darrel Hale on the May 11th premier performance.
Adam is responsible for coordinating WRKF's programming and making sure everything you hear on the radio runs smoothly. He is Newscast Editor for the WRKF/WWNO Newsroom. Adam is also the Baton Rouge-based host for Louisiana Considered, our daily regional news program, and is frequently the local voice afternoons on All Things Considered.
