WRKF's Fifth Annual Founders Luncheon with Mara Liasson


The NPR political correspondent will share her unique perspective Sept. 13, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge. 

NPR political correspondent Mara Liasson will appear at WRKF's Founders Luncheon Sept. 13.

Mara Liasson covers politics and policy from Washington, DC, focusing on the White House, Congress, and political trends beyond the Beltway. She has reported on seven presidential elections since 1992.

Liasson's reports are heard regularly on NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered on WRKF. She is also a political analyst on Fox News Channel.

Mary Ann Sternberg will receive WRKF's board of directors' Founders Award. 
A long-standing supporter of WRKF, Sternberg represented station members during her two terms on its board of directors. She is a longtime freelance writer and nonfiction author, specializing in Louisiana history and culture.
