The Louisiana State Medical Society (LSMS) announced the winners for the 2007 Awards for Excellence in Medical Journalism. Susan Hidalgo-Smith, Host and Senior Producer for Medical Minutes, was named a winner in the broadcast-radio category. Broadcast Producer, Bea Cole, was also recognized for her work on Medical Minutes.
