FRIDAY: Dr. E. Faye Williams; Sen. Dan Claitor; Politcal Activist Mike Stagg

Dr. E. Faye Williams, Chair of the National Congress of Black Women and President/CEO of the Natural Health Options, joins Jim for the first part of today's show. She and Jim discuss the Mississippi's Senate primary election of Sen. Thad Cochran over Chris McDaniel, due to a large turnout of Black Democratic voters.

State Senator Dan Claitor, who's running for Congress, joins Jim in the studio for the second part of today's show. He discusses the defeat of his bill which would have banned the flying of unmanned drones in Louisiana.

Louisiana Political Activist Mike Stagg joins Jim in the studio to discuss his march from Grand Isle to the Governors Mansion in protest of the Governors signing of Senate Bill 469. They're meeting across from the mansion tomorrow at noon, and welcome all those who want to join.

Every weekday Jim engages listeners with compelling discussions ranging from presidential and gubernatorial campaigns to LSU football and the aftermath of disasters like Hurricane Isaac.
