  • A federal judge will allow a Halliburton cement specialist to testify - against the wishes of BP.
    Superintendent of East Baton Rouge Schools John Dilworth announced today that he'll be leaving his post earlier than expected. He had planned to leave June 30, but health concerns are prompting him to exit on February 24.
    An environmental watchdog group is suing the company it blames for an oil spill 11 miles off the coast of Louisiana. The spill allegedly has been flowing into the Gulf of Mexico for more than seven years.
    Governor Bobby Jindal is proposing to expand business incentive programs in a bid to attract new industry and corporate headquarters to Louisiana.
