Bea Cole
Office Manager/Member Services
Beandrica Cole, better known as "Bea," is a native of Natchitoches, La. Bea attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, minoring in Broadcast Journalism. Before college, she performed in summer dinner theatre plays at Northwestern in hit musicals such as Damn Yankees, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel, and Guys and Dolls. During her college years, she performed in Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, served as student director for Christopher Durang's Naomi in the Living Room, and as assistant stage manager during her senior year for the musical hit comedy Cotton Patch Gospel.

Bea also performed in several loft productions

such as The Seven Deadly Sins and Battle of Bull Always Makes Me Cry and many more. In addition to her acting abilities, during her junior year she was cast in her first commercial promoting Northwestern's academics. She is currently a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and was a member of National Association of Black Journalists.

Leaving her loved ones and her hometown of 25 years, Bea moved to Baton Rouge, La. in hopes of pursuing a career in Theatre or Broadcast Journalism. Finally in March 2006, Bea was offered a position as Office Manager/ Member Services formerly held by Jennifer Berniard. Although Bea still holds a passion for the stage, she plans to continue her journey in the world of public radio and hopes to bring much success while working for WRKF. Contact Bea: bea@wrkf.org.
