New Orleans police will get help from federal agents. The goal is to determine why the city's murder rate is so high and what police can do about it. The federal Homicide Technical Expert Team will arrive Monday at the request of

New Orleans police Superintendent Ronal Serpas.
The team will go through the department's records and files and help identify the main causes of murder in New Orleans.
