Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, but it also marks the time politics heat up. Campaigns are now on the home stretch to November's elections.

Governor Bobby Jindal, however, says he won't get involved in this fall's U-S Senate race or congressional races, "I think voters in Louisiana are smart enough to make up their own minds and decide who to vote for."

When asked about his own political future, Jindal repeats his desire to stay in the Governor's mansion, "I am running for re-election, and if voters are interested I would love for them to vote for me next year."

Jindal has had mixed results when endorsing candidates in Louisiana. He was a "special guest" at a fundraiser for Baton Rouge congressman Bill Cassidy. But he suffered a couple of defeats when endorsing candidates for state legislature.
