LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW
Former EPA chief William T. Reilly is co-chair of the Presidential Oil Spill Commission. The panel had its first meeting in New Orleans. Their second meeting is today in Washington, D.C.
The agenda for the first meeting was to determine the cause of the oil spill and devise ways to prevent another one. There was to be no talk of the moratorium. However, on the second day of the panels' New Orleans meeting, that changed. The commission discussed the effects of the oil spill on the Gulf Coast, and the potential effects the moratorium could have on Louisiana.
